GASTONIA - James Eugene Gordon, 63, passed away October 1, 2012 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. He was born on. November 26, 1948 in Gastonia to Eugene Adams and Bernice Gordon Barber. He was a graduate of Frank L. Ashley High School class of 1967.

James is survived by his wife, Barbara Matthews Gordon of the home; daughter Donjinina Gordon of Gastonia; son Jermaine Gordon of Columbia, SC; sister Gretchen Barber of Gastonia; brother, Tommy Scott of Gastonia and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral is Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Fishing Creek Baptist Church in York, SC at 2:00PM.
