GASTONIA - Larry Dean "Bull" Arrowood, 56, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004. He was born Sept. 27, 1948, in Cleveland County, son of Jeanette Killian Arrowood and the late Joe Thomas Arrowood.
He was the manager of the Armstrong Fishing Lake. He was a 1966 graduate of Frank L. Ashley High School. He attended Emmanuel Freewill Baptist Church and was an Marine Corps veteran of Vietnam.
He is survived by his mother, Jeanette Killian Arrowood; son, Joseph Dean Arrowood of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Ronnie Roberson of Hillsborough; daughters, Natasha Arrowood, Heather Carver, Brandi Carver, all of Mount Holly; brother and sister-in-law, Danny Joe and Carol Arrowood of Gastonia; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Frank Winkles of Gastonia; grandchildren, Gary Carver and Jarrod Arrowood; mother of his children and long-time companion, Kary Arrowood of Stanley; aunts and uncles, Margie Killian Smith and husband, Bill, Sharon Bradley and husband David; cousins, Mark and David Smith, Sharon Bradley.
Interment will follow at Westview Gardens with full military rites by WWII Last Man Club.
