MCADENVILLE - David Brady Spencer, 65, passed away unexpectedly on April 10, 2015, at his residence. He was born in Gaston County on May 16, 1949, son of the late Howard Howard and Frances Dellinger Spencer, of Gastonia. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Howard Spencer. He is survived by his brother, Barre W. Spencer and wife Kay of Mount Holly; sister, Darinda Fredricksen and husband Skip of Gastonia.

David graduated from Frank L. Ashley class of 1967. He graduated from UNC Charlotte with a B.S. degree in Biology, served in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam veteran. Visitation will be held 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015, at the Presbyterian Church of Lowell activity center.
