GASTONIA - Willie Bee Rippy Campbell, 62, of 1301 N. Boyce St., passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro. She was born September 1, 1950 in Gastonia, daughter of Merion Neely Rippy and the late William Rippy. Willie was a graduate of Frank L. Ashley High School class of 1967.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2012 at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Gastonia. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Friday.

BURIAL: Armstrong Cemetery in Gastonia.

Survivors include her sister, Ida Mae Rippy Patterson (Buddy); brothers, Walter Rippy, Ralph Rippy (Gwen), Elijah Rippy (Nette), Raymond Rippy (Tina) and Leo Rippy.
