HOLLYWOOD, FL - Dennis Kelly Rutledge, 63, passed away February 13, 2011. He was born July 31, 1947 in Danville, VA, son of Homer J. and Helen Shackelford Rutledge. Dennis was a graduate of Frank L. Ashley class of 1967. He served as a corporal in the US Army in Vietnam. He worked as a medic in the 67th Evacuation Hospital and was then transferred to the 1st Logistic Command Special Service Compound. He also played the drums while entertaining troops all over Vietnam. 

He is survived by his brother, J.B. Rutledge of Miramar, FL, also a graduate of Frank L. Ashley class of 1967.
