GASTONIA - Victoria Elaine Calhoun “Vickie” Ray, 58, and her husband, Warren G. Ray, Jr., passed away Saturday, June 16, 2007 as a result of an automobile accident. She was born March 29, 1949, to the late Leon Tilman and Mary Vandiver Calhoun of Gastonia. Vickie was a graduate of Frank L. Ashley High class of 1967.

She is survived by her daughter, Anna Melissa Ray of Forest City and Grandcat, Belle. She is preceded in death by her brothers Bobby and Billy Calhoun.

The funeral will take place at 2:00PM Thursday, June 21, 2007, at Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia. The burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park. Dr. Warner Doles will officiate.
